Zf6 Shift Pattern - The best way i've found to differentiate between a drive, performance, manual, limp etc mode is the characteristics of each table. It's a very high quality part also. Made in usa by a hurst supplier. I have 3.42 gears so that could be part of the reason why i notice it. I dont see why anything internally would be changed unless gm wanted different gear ratio. I'm just looking for a lever with a different design, so that its more back and upright. The shift pattern bezel on mine spins around and makes what sounds like an annoying metallic sound. Poke around the dodge forunms and you will see all is not perfect with the 5600 either. This will make your zf6 the gearbox it was meant to be. It has the bottom of housing complete (not open like a zf5 ) and the input shaft has larger 1.375 splines. Web i don't think i'm looking for a shorter shift pattern.
